Mumbai, June 15 - The US Consulate General office located in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) here received a phone call threatening to blow up the complex, but after a search, nothing suspicious was found there. The police gave this information today.
A BKC police official said that the Consulate General office received a call from an unknown person at around 8 pm on Saturday night, in which a bomb threat was made in the complex.
He said that as soon as the police received the information, a team of the bomb disposal squad reached the spot. However, nothing suspicious was found during the search. The official said that an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the police are trying to trace the caller.
