Chandigarh, September 6 - Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the flood in Punjab will be resolved together. Therefore, Haryana is with Punjab. Relief material is being delivered to the flood-affected districts of Punjab.
The Chief Minister was talking to reporters here today.
Replying to a question asked about the flood situation in Haryana, Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the state government is constantly monitoring the situation after the rains. The double-engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is serious about the interests of farmers, earlier too the government had given compensation to the farmers. This time too, compensation will be given to the affected farmers.
He said that the government is with the people of the state. An e-conditional portal has been opened for the affected farmers. 1,69,738 farmers from 2897 villages of the state have registered for more than 9 lakh 96 thousand acres through the portal, further action will be taken after verification.
Talking about the Congress, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that politically the ground has been taken out from under the feet of the Congress. Therefore, questions were raised on EVMs, then the Constitution and democracy were in danger, and now they are making statements about vote theft. The Chief Minister said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi talks about vote theft while showing empty pockets in Parliament, but the truth is that the pockets of the Congress have been emptied by their own deeds.
The public has come to know the truth of these. Today, the Congress is clean and the issues have ended, which is now trying to regain its political ground. Of all the public welfare decisions taken by the Prime Minister, not a single one has been praised by the Congress or the Indi alliance. This shows their thinking.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many decisions have been taken for the welfare of the poor. In the Union Budget, a rebate has been given in tax on income slabs up to Rs 12 lakh and now by changing the GST slab, a big relief has been given to the common people. The Central and State governments are working to provide relief to the poor and the common people. Every section has got relief with the new GST slab.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Excise and Taxation Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh, Director General of the Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department K. Makrand Pandurang and Media Secretary to the Chief Minister Praveen Atre were present.
