Nawanshahr:- CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr. Amandeep and CJM Mr. Mahesh Kumar visited the embankment of Sutlej River adjacent to village Burj Tehal Das and provided relief materials like tarpaulins, diesel, water, medical kit etc.
Under the directions of Hon'ble District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Smt. Priya Sood, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr. Amandeep and CJM Mr. Mahesh Kumar visited the embankment of Sutlej River adjacent to village Burj Tehal Das, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and reviewed the current situation with the Sarpanches, villagers and officials of the District Administration present at the spot.
On this occasion, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr. Amandeep and CJM Mr. Mahesh Kumar provided relief materials such as 60 tarpaulins, 100 liters of diesel, 30 cartons of water bottles and 10 medical kits to Sarpanch village Burj Tehal Das, Sarpanch village Talwandi Sibu and Sarpanch village Pandarawal on the basis of the demands received through Para Legal Volunteer Baldev Bharti.
On this occasion, he informed that District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar has formed teams at the block level to help the people in the flood affected areas and in any possible way, with the aim of providing assistance and relief to the flood affected areas and people. Para Legal Volunteer Baldev Bharti, Jarnail Singh Khurd were present on this occasion.
