Patiala, November 14 - The Punjab government organized a children's fair in all the schools of Punjab today. Under the leadership of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, State Secretary of Punjab and PRTC participated in the children's fair at Government Elementary School Tripri. Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana arrived as the chief guest.
Chairman Hadana congratulated the school children on the occasion of Children's Day and said that the children of today are the future of tomorrow. He also mentioned about the various schemes launched by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann especially for school children. He said that children should be interested in sports as well as studies. The state government has given sports grounds and prizes on a large scale to encourage the youth towards sports, as a result of which many sportsmen of Punjab have competed in the Asian Games held in the past and the name of Punjab has been illuminated all over the world. He especially said to give full support for the all-round development of the students. On this occasion Manwinder Kaur Bhullar Deputy District Education Officer DEO (AC) Patiala informed about the facilities being provided.
