Una, August 25- As per the instructions of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the entire administrative staff and public representatives are actively engaged in quick relief, rescue and restoration work in the disaster affected areas.
In this sequence, former MLA of Una Assembly constituency Satpal Singh Raizada on Monday visited the Municipal Council Una and various rain affected areas of the assembly constituency and took stock of the situation. Administrative officers were also present with him during the inspection.
Mr. Raizada inspected the waterlogging situation in various areas and interacted with the local citizens and listened to their problems. He emphasized on ensuring their quick solution and assistance.
Mr. Raizada said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu himself is monitoring the relief, rescue and restoration work. The state government and the district administration are standing with the affected families and continuous steps are being taken to provide all possible assistance.
