SAS Nagar, August 21- BJP District President Mr. Sanjeev Vashisht and other BJP leaders who were going to Nagla village along with his colleagues to set up a camp called ‘BJP Servants, At Your Door’ were taken into custody by the police.
Under the leadership of SP Mr. Ramandeep Singh, the police took the BJP leaders and workers into buses. The police took the BJP leaders to Zirakpur police station, where they were released. On this occasion, Mr. Vashisht and other leaders raised slogans against the Punjab government.
On this occasion, Mr. Vashisht alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab is badly scared and the camps being set up in the villages for people to register online for the schemes run by the Modi government are being forcibly closed by the BJP leaders.
He said that on the instructions of the government, the police are not allowing anyone to enter the village and they have also been stopped one kilometer before the village.
He said that the Bhagwant Mann government is being bullied and the people of Punjab are being prevented from taking advantage of the schemes of the Modi government, which cannot be tolerated and the people of Punjab will answer for it.
