Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 5, 2025: In exercise of powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of firm Caninvisas International Education Services Pvt. Ltd.
Giving information, Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh informed that firm Caninvisas International Education Services Pvt. Ltd. SCO No. 06, Block-A, Ground Floor, Chandigarh City Centre, VIP. Road, Zirakpur, Tehsil Derabassi, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owner of Shri Smt. Uma Gupta (Director) wife of Shri Anil Kumar House No. 239, Sector-07, Urban Estate, Ambala City, Ambala, District Ambala, Haryana and Shri Gaurav Bansal (Director) son of Shri Ravinder Bansal, House No. 35, HUDA R-1, Ward No. 07, Cheeka, District Kaithal, Haryana, was issued a license No. 562/IC, dated 12.05.2023 for the work of Consultancy and Coaching Institute of IELTS, which is valid up to 11.05.2028.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the licensee was instructed to send monthly report, information about advertisements and seminars related to the firm and half-yearly report to the government. According to the report of the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Derabassi, during the checking of the firm/company, it was found that the company had a valid license and there was no fire NOC. But no information/reply was sent by the firm.
He said that a Tamil report regarding the notice has been received from the Naib Tehsildar, Zirakpur that the office at the above address is closed and a copy of the summons has been pasted on the spot.
He further said that the licensee has not given information about the monthly report, advertisements and seminars related to the firm and has not informed this office about the half-yearly report. Apart from this, the licensee has not sent a reply to the notice. Due to which a notice letter was issued to the licensee again. The notice issued at the office address has been received undelivered.
He said that the licensee has sent a reply through the application that due to personal circumstances, he had stopped working within 3-4 months. During this period, no consultancy services were conducted and no payment was made from clients or students in the form of fees. Further, no advertisements and seminars were organized regarding the firm. They have no intention of resuming or continuing this business in future.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that as per the demand of the licensee and based on the above mentioned situation regarding the firm, the licensee has committed a violation under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012 by closing the office as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, not working, not sending half-yearly report, not complying with the clauses of the license, not replying/giving clarification to the notice.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license No. 562/IC, dated 12.05.2023 of the firm Caninvisaz International Education Services Pvt. Ltd. for the work of Consultancy and Coaching Institute of IELTS has been revoked/cancelled with immediate effect.
Further, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/directors/partners/licensees shall be liable in all respects for the same and shall also be liable to compensate the same.
