Patiala, January 5 - Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni has said that special camps are being organized in Patiala district to register pending transfers on January 6 (Saturday), a holiday. He said that on January 6, officials and employees will be present in the revenue offices of Patiala district and will register and verify the pending transfers.
  He appealed to the people to take maximum advantage of this special camp and said that those who have any transfer case pending, they can go to their respective tehsil office on January 6 and get it settled. He said that orders have already been given to the officials to register all the pending transfers on the spot during the special camp so that the people do not have to face any kind of trouble. The Deputy Commissioner said that he is continuously monitoring the work of settlement of pending transfers so that this work can be completed in a timely manner. He instructed the officials not to use any negligence in this work and said that any kind of laxity in the work of the people will not be tolerated.
