SAS Nagar September 10:- The Sikh Federation (USA) today announced a humanitarian initiative to provide immediate relief to the people of Punjab, recently devastated by floods. Recognizing the gravity of the crisis, the Federation has pledged ?1 crore (Rs. 10 million) to support recovery and rehabilitation efforts.

The unprecedented floods have displaced thousands of families across Punjab, destroyed homes and disrupted livelihoods. Responding to the Sikh principle of Sarbat da Bhala (Good for All), the Sikh Federation (USA) has mobilized resources from its members and supporters in North America to assist victims in their time of need.
"Our brothers and sisters in Punjab are facing hardships beyond imagination," said Bhai Gurinderjit Singh, spokesperson for the Sikh Federation (USA). "As Sikhs, it is our moral and spiritual duty to stand with them. This Rs 1 crore relief fund is the beginning of our efforts to help rebuild lives and restore hope.
We appeal to the global Sikh community and all people of conscience to contribute in any way they can. Together, we can alleviate the suffering of our people and show that humanity and compassion transcend borders."
