Jalandhar- On the occasion of 79th Independence Day, Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan (DJJS) was honored with a certificate of appreciation by the Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar **Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, IAS** for its services in the field of social upliftment. The award was presented during an official function organized at the District Administration Complex, which was attended by administrative officers, social workers and Swami Sajjananand Ji on behalf of the institution.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Agarwal said that Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan has made continuous, effective and result-oriented efforts in de-addiction, women empowerment, conservation and promotion of indigenous breed of Indian cows, environment conservation, education dissemination, disaster relief and promotion of moral values. He specially appreciated the grassroots approach of the institute, the commitment of the sevadars and the work plan.
On behalf of the institute, Swami Sajjananand Ji, a disciple of Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, thanked the Deputy Commissioner and the district administration for this honour and said that our efforts will continue rapidly towards building a ‘strengthened, alert and cultured’ society for human welfare.
After the program, the institute also shared plans for future drug eradication awareness campaigns, tree planting and education of poor children and a series of personality development workshops for students and women safety and health awareness sessions.
