Patna:- The Patna High Court on Wednesday directed the Congress to remove an AI-generated video showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother from its social media handles.
Acting Chief Justice PB Baijantri issued the order on a petition filed by Vivekanand Singh.
The petition also made Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the central government and the Election Commission a respondent. “The court has also issued notices to Gandhi, Facebook, Twitter and Google, ordering immediate removal of the video,” Election Commission lawyer Siddharth Prasad told PTI.
It is worth noting that the Bihar Congress had posted this video on its X handle last week, in which Modi’s mother was shown criticising his politics.
