Jalandhar- Demanding punishment for the culprit involved in the highly condemnable and severe punishment that happened to the child in Hoshiarpur, the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee said that making the entire migrant community a target of attack because of one criminal person, issuing orders of displacement and threatening genuine social, democratic public institutions and individuals who speak from the real point of view of justice in the cities and towns of Punjab in the presence of police guards is actually creating a criminal atmosphere of burning the Punjabi community, especially the Sikh community, associated with businesses and living in Punjab and other states.
Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee President Ajmer Singh, General Secretary Prithipal Singh Marimegha and Convener of the Cultural Wing Amolak Singh have said in a press statement issued today that the phenomenon of creating an atmosphere of fratricidal war within Punjab and the country is linked to the terrible consequences of creating such narratives across the world.
He said that the series of 'Pravasi Bhajao' campaigns in places like England, Canada, Australia etc. are linked to 'Pravasi Bhajao, Punjab Banao' from Punjab because in order to avoid the target of the resistance of the anger that has arisen against the unjust wars that the imperialist corporate establishment around the world is waging against the people, it is blowing a communal poisonous wind of making people enemies of each other by making excuses or seizing opportunities.
The Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee says that when Punjab is in the grip of floods, a flood of aid has come from the entire country, which is tearing apart the governments and anti-people forces. Therefore, under a calculated policy to break the fortress of communal harmony that is being built in the country, today, under the umbrella of the government, such elements are being given freedom to create chaos in the entire Punjab, who never hesitate to take action on any public issue.
The committee has appealed to all the people living in Punjab, the country and the states to keep the flag of the universal revolutionary pro-people heritage of the Ghadar movement high, strengthen the embrace of communal harmony among the people and come forward to raise their voices fearlessly against all kinds of divisive, murderous, communal forces and the rulers who are supporting them.
