Khalsa College Mahilpur staff to donate one day's salary for the rehabilitation of flood victims.

Mahilpur, September 5:- Under the leadership of the management of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur, which is run under the management of the Sikh Educational Council, the principal and all the staff of the institution have decided to contribute one day's salary towards the rehabilitation of flood victims in Punjab.

Speaking in this regard, the principal of the college, Dr. Parvinder Singh, said that due to the floods in many districts of Punjab, people have suffered huge loss of life and property and many social service organizations in Punjab are contributing to compensate for this loss.
He said that at present, great efforts are needed for the rehabilitation of the flood victims and under the leadership of the management of Khalsa College Mahilpur, it has been decided to make a financial contribution to these rehabilitation-related works by all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, under which all the staff of the college will give one day's salary from their good earnings to these relief works.
He said that as soon as the college opens, students can also contribute to these service works. On this occasion, Principal Parvinder Singh and all the staff expressed their deep sympathy with the flood victims of Punjab and appreciated the contribution being made by social service organizations from their good earnings in flood relief works in every way.
