Patiala 23 August: Today, workshop workers belonging to various organizations of PRTC Patiala Depot gathered and reported to the General Manager regarding the grave threat to the safety of the employees in the depot and the violent incident that took place the previous day and the incidents of drivers Sandeep Singh and Jasdeep Singh threatening the workshop in-charges and disrupting the work of the workshop.

Patiala 23 August: Today, workshop workers belonging to various organizations of PRTC Patiala Depot gathered and reported to the General Manager regarding the grave threat to the safety of the employees in the depot and the violent incident that took place the previous day and the incidents of drivers Sandeep Singh and Jasdeep Singh threatening the workshop in-charges and disrupting the work of the workshop.
But no action was taken by the General Manager at all. The General Manager's ignoring of these incidents is not only unfortunate and irresponsible. At the same time, his such attitude also poses a risk of any bad incident happening in the future.
Giving details of the incidents, the leaders of the organizations working in the workshop Paramjit Singh, Tarsem Singh, Daler Singh, Lal Singh, Parminder Singh Sub Inspector, Inderjit Singh etc. said that on August 21, Sandeep Singh had started arguing with the driver of the workshop, Deepak Kumar, and Satvir Singh, who was in charge of the workshop, and had started threatening him and using bad language.
When the driver Raman Kumar tried to explain to him, Sandeep Singh started talking badly to him and hit him on the head with a heavy iron object, due to which Raman Kumar was seriously injured.
Who was taken to Rajindra Hospital for treatment and is undergoing treatment, a police case has been registered. Despite such an incident, the brother of the accused, driver Jasdeep Singh, who was present at the spot, also kept threatening him. Despite the fact that all the information regarding these incidents is in the notice of the General Manager, the employees will protest every day from Monday 25th August to protest against the lack of action.
This action will be supported by 4-5 organizations working in Patiala Depot. These incidents are also being brought to the notice of the higher authorities. On this occasion, organizations ATK Paramjit Singh and Daler Singh, CITU Tarsem Singh and Parminder Singh Sub Inspector, INTAK Gurnaib Singh, SCBC Rajinder Singh, Naseeb Chand, and Inderjit Singh of the Workers' Party were present.
