Hoshiarpur- A grand rally was organized by Bahujan Samaj Party Punjab under the Punjab Sambalo Abhiyan in Dana Mandi Chabbewal of Chabbewal assembly constituency. Thousands of party workers and residents of the area participated in this rally. On this occasion, BSP Punjab President and former Rajya Sabha member Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri was the chief guest and Punjab Coordinator Gurnam Chaudhary was the special guest.
Addressing the grand gathering, Dr. Karimpuri said that the caste and social harassment being done by the Aam Aadmi Party on the followers of Satguru Ravidass Maharaj Ji is worrying, which the BSP will never tolerate. The demolition of the boundary wall of Guru Ravidass temple in Dhuleta, insulting the Guru Ghar and insulting the devotees in the police stations is a very sad and serious matter.
He said that Congress, Akali, BJP and now Aam Aadmi Party have always looted, killed and ruined Dalits and the poor. The AAP government, which promised to end drug abuse in a few days before the elections, has completely failed on the issue of drugs. The drug mafia has reached from colleges to primary schools. Opening illegal branches of liquor vends in Khuralgarh Sahib, where Satguru Ravidass Maharaj Ji fell at his feet, shows the dirty thinking of the AAP government towards Dalits. Karimpuri said that the AAP government is creating drug addicts by opening branches of liquor vends. The number of people dying due to drug addiction is increasing daily. About 30 thousand youth who have become victims of drug addiction due to unemployment, inflation and economic hardship are in jails, while more than two lakh youth have lost their lives due to Chitta. The houses of hundreds of drug addicts have been burnt down but not a single house of drug smugglers has been touched. The AAP government is deceiving the people by playing the role of a war on drugs.
He said that the AAP government could not break the network of drug mafia run by the Congress, Akali and BJP governments, due to which two lakh youth became victims of Chitta. There has been government oppression on the people in villages like Harta, Mana, Barian, Thoana etc. of Chabbewal constituency, but the BSP stands with the victims. The BSP will restore the respect of the Panches and Sarpanches who won.
Dr. Karimpuri said that the BSP has started the Punjab Sambalo Abhiyan to shake the Punjab government and wake up the people. In the 2027 elections, the people will definitely give the BSP a chance to take Punjab towards progress, prosperity and to create a drug-free, fear-free, debt-free society because the BSP is the strongest alternative to the Congress, Akali, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party.
