The leaders said that teachers are facing problems while filling the station choice for transfer. The leaders said that due to the e-Punjab portal not being open and the server being busy and all the vacant stations not being shown on the portal, teachers are facing a lot of difficulty in selecting the station for transfer.
The leaders appealed to the higher authorities and demanded that the deadline for selecting stations for transfers be further extended so that teachers desirous of transfers can also go closer to their homes and that newly recruited teachers who are one to two hundred kilometers away from their homes be given a special opportunity for transfer. Teachers like Jatinder Singh, Kulwant Singh, Jagdish Sahota, Rakesh Kumar, Pritpal Singh, Surinder Singh, Subhash etc. were present on the occasion.
