Hoshiarpur- Punjab University Chandigarh has extended the last date of admission without late fee till August 11 for students desirous of taking admission in various courses under the session 2025-26.
Dr. Manjit Kaur, Principal of Shri Guru Har Rai Sahib College for Women, Chabbewal, which is run under the patronage of “Panth Rattan” Singh Sahib Jathedar Sant Baba Nihal Singh Ji (Haryan Bullan), has warmly welcomed this decision of Panjab University and has appreciated it wholeheartedly.
He said that those girls of the area who could not get admission due to any reason, can now get admission in B.A./B.Com/B.C.A./B.Sc (FD)/M.Com/PG Diploma in FD etc. courses without late fee till August 11, because the new session has started in the college and regular classes are being held.
The Principal Madam said that in her college, special discount in fees is given to two sisters, fatherless girls, meritorious girls, Amritdhari girls and girls from Chabbewal area.
She also said that the college provides bus service at reasonable rates and cash prizes and certificates are given to the girls who come with excellent results in the examinations.
Finally, Principal Dr. Manjit Kaur appealed to the people of the area and the parents of the girls to get admission in Chabbewal College in a hurry for the good future of their children.
