4 March Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar's NSS unit dedicated to the theme 'Youth for My India and Youth for Digital Literacy' was started under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Heera. Unit in-charge Dr. Arvinder Singh and Dr. Naresh Kumari highlighted the importance of NSS in student life and motivated the volunteers to actively participate in all the activities of the camp.
On the first day of the camp, the volunteers and unit in-charges performed a collective Ardaas at the college Gurudwara Sahib. After reciting 'Dehi Shiva Bahu Mohi Ihai', the students discussed today's thoughts, highlighted the main news of the country and abroad and participated in many other activities. In the second session, they openly shared their thoughts about themselves in a unique activity.
Principal Dr. Amandeep Heera honored Bhai Mohkam Singh Group from among the five groups of volunteers formed in the name of Panj Pyare for the best performance throughout the day. Dr. Jaspal Singh Principal Garhdiwala, Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur, Prof. Kanwar Kulwant Singh, Dr. Kuldeep Kaur, Dr. Sangha Gurbakhsh Kaur, Prof. Kiranjot Kaur, Prof. Deepika were present in the camp.
