Nawanshahr- Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's birth anniversary was celebrated by all the residents of village Hiyala, in which as the chief guest, Nawanshahr MLA Dr. Nachhatar Pal along with his colleagues congratulated the Gurudwara Shri Guru Ravidas Managing Committee, Dr. Ambedkar Welfare Society, all the Gram Panchayats and all the residents of the village on the 134th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and remembering Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, he said that Baba Saheb received his primary education after going through a lot of hardships and went abroad for higher education, due to which he got the opportunity to write the Constitution of India.
All the comforts and facilities we are enjoying today are all a gift of the Constitution. Those who used to oppose Baba Saheb at that time are chanting Baba Saheb's name day and night today. I am very grateful to the villagers who elected me and sent me to the Assembly, due to which I was elected in my constituency and the people of Punjab got a chance to speak on the problems of every section of farmers, laborers, employees, permanent employees, Angarwali workers.
Similarly, due to the two-year struggle of the Bahujan Samaj Party, for the first time 58 law officers were appointed in the Home Affairs and Justice Department, in which Advocate Balveer Singh Bali from this village was also appointed as a law officer, which is a matter of great pride for our district. Similarly, the high village of Sanghol, which is related to Buddhism, was asked in the Assembly to be made a tourist spot, which will increase revenue.
Similarly, when I demanded a medical college in the Assembly, the foundation stone of the medical college was laid in Nawanshahr and money was also kept in this budget and the School of Eminence was built, due to which the children of poor families of the surrounding villages are getting good and cheap education. I will continue to work hard in the same way for my constituency. On this occasion Sarabjeet Jafferpur, Palwinder Sood, Harmesh Jafferpur Sarpanch Pradeep Singh Manohar Bodh Jasvir Begumpur Lucky Hiyala Rana Bhangal Kalan were present.
