He met the families whose houses were damaged due to rain and waterlogging and inquired about the well-being of the injured in the incident. He said that in this hour of crisis, the government and the district administration stand with the victims and will provide them all possible help.
MLA Jimpa reviewed the situation with the administrative officials present on the spot and gave clear instructions that immediate relief should be provided to the affected families. He ordered the officials to immediately assess the damage and expedite the process of providing compensation to the eligible people.
He said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann always stands with the people and no one will be left alone in difficult times. He appreciated the immediate action of the district administration and said that there is a need to expedite the relief and rehabilitation work so that the affected families can soon lead a normal life.
The MLA said that the Red Cross Society is distributing relief materials to the affected families. Under this, ration, clothes and other essential items are being delivered to the people. He thanked the Red Cross and other social organizations and said that every section of the society should come forward and help the needy.
MLA Jimpa appealed to the affected people to maintain patience and cooperate with the administration. He assured that the government and the administration will provide relief to every victim with full responsibility. Naib Tehsildar Hirdevir Singh, Councilor Rajeshwar Dayal Babbi, Bindu Sharma, Vikas Saini and others were present on the occasion.
