Chandigarh, September 7 - Haryana Public Health and Engineering Minister Mr. Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that progress of society is possible only when all sections participate actively in the work of education, employment and social upliftment. Mr. Gangwa was speaking as the chief guest at a grand felicitation ceremony organized by the Human Welfare Kumhar Samaj Samiti in Hisar on Sunday.
The Cabinet Minister said that if the society moves forward with the spirit of mutual brotherhood and cooperation, then it cannot lag behind in any field. He described this felicitation ceremony as a step that will give new energy and inspiration to the society.
He said that the hard work, dedication and traditional art of the Kumhar community have always created a special identity in the society. Today, it is the need of the hour that the youth should connect with modern education and technology to create their new identity and bring glory to the society.
Cabinet Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that social security of women and their empowerment is the top priority of the Haryana Government. Women have an important role in the concept of developed India, therefore the Central and State Governments have launched several schemes to make women strong and economically prosperous. In this regard, it has been decided to implement the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana in the state.
The Cabinet Minister said that in the situation of waterlogging caused by heavy rains, administrative officers and department employees are continuously visiting the affected areas and the help of pumps and machinery is being taken to remove the waterlogging as soon as possible. 
He directed the officials that under no circumstances should the general public be inconvenienced and the work of water drainage should be completed on priority. He appealed to the people to stay away from rumors and cooperate with the administration.
