
Punjab Roadways Retired Employees Welfare Association Regd. held a meeting under the chairmanship of Ajram
5 March Hoshiarpur- Today a meeting of Punjab Roadways Retired Employees Welfare Association (Regd.) Hoshiarpur was held at the bus stand Hoshiarpur under the chairmanship of President Kuldeep Singh Ajram. At the beginning of the meeting, the members of this organization Baljit Singh Sahota NRI Sub-Inspector, Jarnail Singh former Sub-Inspector, Harbhajan Das Niazi former Sub-Inspector, Karnail Singh Ajram former Sub-Inspector, Gurdev Singh Chandsu former Inspector were honored by giving mementoes and loi.

After this, Vice President of this organization Kuldeep Singh Ajram, Chairman Avtar Singh Jhingar, Vice President Harjinder Singh Gill, Office Secretary Deputy Gurbaksh Singh, Gyan Singh Bhalethu General Secretary, Kuldeep Singh Ajram and Kashmir Singh Hargarhi addressed the organization and said that the present AAP government wants to run the government by violating the rights of pensioners and employees.
They have decided to pay the DA and 6th Pay Commission arrears in 42 installments, this is a huge failure of the government. The government had promised the employees that the old pension will be restored, the temporary employees will be made permanent, new posts will be created by keeping the budget of Punjab Roadways, but none of these promises have been fulfilled.
Punjab Roadways is being completely abolished and private institutions are being given internal benefits from it. Even the promises they made to the public after coming to power are not being fulfilled, such as thousands of rupees are being given to women, every household is being given a job and many more promises were made, which have not been fulfilled. The organization raised slogans and the entire organization vowed that like the elections to be held in Delhi, this government will be defeated in Punjab too.

President Kuldeep Singh Ajram informed that the next meeting will be held on 5 April 2025 at the bus stand.
