Una, March 12- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Wednesday felicitated star para athlete Sunil Kumar, who won silver medal in the 23rd National Para Athletics Games 2025, by presenting him a shawl and cap at his office. He congratulated Sunil Kumar and his family and said that Sunil's achievement has brought laurels not only to Una but to the entire state.
Congratulating Sunil Kumar, he said that Sunil's achievement is a testament to his indomitable courage and dedication towards sports. Apart from this, the Deputy Commissioner also provided an incentive of Rs 21,000 to Sunil Kumar under the Samarthya Yojana.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Sunil Kumar has not only achieved personal success with his hard work and dedication, but has also made Una as well as the entire state proud across the country. His success is also an inspiration for the young players of the state.
