Hoshiarpur- Hoshiarpur district's name got a new glory at the biggest Kumbh of book fairs, Vishwa Pustak Mela Delhi, when Dr. Jaswant Rai, working as a research officer at the District Language Office, Hoshiarpur, released Prabhat Publishers Delhi's Hindi book 'Bij To Birakh Tak'. This book is an inspirational story based on the life of IAS officer G.S. Naveen Kumar.
It is worth mentioning that this book has also been published in mother tongue Punjabi by Sharad Kala Publishers Patiala, which has received a very good response from readers, especially students. Talking about the book, author Dr. Jaswant Rai said that this book describes in a touching manner the struggle of Naveen Kumar, who came from a simple family, the consequences of his attraction towards books, the role of parents in the education of children, the embrace of teachers, the selection of heroes and the struggle to realize dreams.
This book is not only limited to how students can pass big exams but it also tells how to work for public interest and the country after reaching big positions. Poet Madan Veera, who has been published in Punjabi as well as many other languages, congratulated both the protagonist and the author of the book for adding a new chapter in literature for students through this book.
IAS Naveen Kumar, while talking about many aspects of his life, recalled the beautiful moments spent during his tour of Punjab during the Punjab Assembly elections in 2022, which became the basis of this book. DM Hindi Kuldeep Singh shared the points that came to mind while correcting the Hindi language of this book.
