Shambhu Rajpura- The 359th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was celebrated with great pomp today by the farmers who are struggling in the 326-day long Kisan Andolan 2 (Delhi Andolan 2) for the solution of the farmers. Apart from the farmers present on the issues, people from the villages of the area also participated. While the leaders of the forum congratulated the whole country from the stage, they also inspired them to follow the path shown by Guru Sahib.
Addressing the stage and the press, the farmer leaders highlighted the struggle of the farmers and the stand of the central government regarding the health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal who was on hunger strike. Speaking on the agricultural marketing draft issued by the central government, the farmer leaders told how this new draft policy is against the interests of the farmers and how an attempt has been made to introduce the three black laws afresh.
They announced that the agricultural marketing draft issued by the Center should be burnt across the country on the required day on January 13. Along with this, the Morcha has declared to burn the effigies of Modi across the country on January 10 in protest against the attitude adopted by the central government towards the farmers.
