Una, 21 December- State Scheduled Caste Commission Chairman Kuldeep Kumar Dhiman held a meeting with the district officials of Scheduled Castes in the SC Commission building in Rampur on Saturday. During this, Scheduled Commission Member Secretary and SDM Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan and Commission Member Advocate Vijay Dogra were also present.
During this, Kuldeep Kumar said that the main objective of the state government to open the Scheduled Caste Commission office is to ensure that there is no discrimination against the people of Scheduled Castes and that their rights are not violated. He said that in future also, by holding meetings with the officials of Scheduled Castes from time to time, the solution of people's problems will be ensured.
The Chairman of the SC Commission called the comment made by the Union Home Minister on the architect of the Constitution of India, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, unfortunate. He said that the Union Home Minister should apologize for this comment. He said that the entire Scheduled Caste class, Dalit and exploited class strongly condemn this comment.
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji, who gave equal rights to the Scheduled Caste people to live, eat and get education in the society, is the messiah of the SC class and the SC class will not tolerate such wrong comments.
The district officers of Scheduled Castes who attended the meeting expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri for opening the office of SC Commission in Una district. He said that it is a matter of pride for Una that a big state level office has opened in the district. 
This historic step will ensure quick resolution of the complaints of Dalit society and the deprived. State convener Lekhraj Bharti, retired DSP Kamal Chand, Scheduled Caste district head Tarsem Lal Sahota, Scheduled Caste district women president Sunita Devi, Haroli block president Jaspal Jassa, Una SC Block president Balram Mahe, SC women president Una Rano Devi, Gagret SC Block head Surendra Kumar, District general secretary Gurpal Kalsi, District vice president Mohinder Singh, Baldev Saroha, Ramji Das, Suresh Mian from District Kabir Panthi Sabha attended the meeting.
