Hoshiarpur- Panjab University, Chandigarh has approved to start three-year BPES course in the Department of Physical Education from the current session in Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur, which is running under the management of Sikh Educational Council. In this regard, the Principal of the college, Dr. Parvinder Singh said that Khalsa College Mahilpur has a special place in the academic world as well as in the world of sports and the sports achievements of the college are particularly noteworthy in establishing this region as a nursery of football.
He said that after examining the entire sports infrastructure, grounds, staff and all the arrangements for the promotion of sports of the college, Panjab University, Chandigarh has given approval to this institution to start a three-year BPES course. He said that admissions have started from the current session in this course of Bachelor's Course in Physical Education and Sports and students who have passed class XII in any stream can join this course and connect with numerous employment opportunities in the field of physical education and sports.
He said that in this course, the college has got approval to fill 60 seats in the first phase and this course is a course full of good prospects for the future of students interested in physical education and sports. He appealed to the students of the area to register for this three-year graduation course and ensure their admission.
