SAS Nagar, January 1 - As soon as the year 2025 started, Mohali Police has registered the first FIR in Mataur police station. The small shutter of the liquor shop was open and the said liquor seller was waiting for his customers. According to the police of Mataur police station, in Phase 3B2, the time for closing liquor shops was till 12 midnight. But on the contrary, the contractor of the said shop was sitting with the small shutter open to sell liquor even after 12 o'clock in the night.
The Mataur police has registered a second FIR against the owner of Dana Paani restaurant located in Phase 3B2. Who was sitting with the restaurant open at around 2 o'clock in the night.
In this regard, Mataur police station in-charge Aman Tarika said that both the above cases have been registered under section 223 of BNS.
