Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Health Department Punjab and Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra, District Vaccination Officer Dr. Seema Garg held a special meeting with all block LHVs of the district regarding the measles and rubella elimination campaign today.
During the meeting, Dr. Seema examined the list of children prepared by the sub-centers of all blocks in which children could not get MR-1 or MR-2 due to some reason. She said that vaccination sessions of these children should be planned till Saturday (including Wednesday being a holiday). This pendency should be ended. 
During this time, no child should be deprived of vaccination. We have all the vaccines available in sufficient quantity. It should be ensured that children are given Vitamin-A along with MR. Only by fully vaccinating children can we make the MR Elimination Campaign a success.
