Garhshankar, August 23: As per the instructions of the Education Department of the Punjab Government, folk dance competitions were organized for students of different schools of Block Garhshankar-1 and Garhshankar-2 at Government Senior Secondary Smart School Paddi Sura Singh.
Students of different schools of Block Garhshankar-1 and Garhshankar-2 participated enthusiastically in these competitions organized under the leadership of Block Nodal Officer Garhshankar-2-cum-Principal Government Senior Secondary School Paddi Sura Singh Shri Kirpal Singh.
Headmaster Baljit Singh Garhi Mansowal, Headmaster Dildar Singh Garhi Matton and Headmaster Balvir Singh Tutomjara played the role of judge in these competitions. In these folk dance competitions, the team of Government Senior Secondary School Paddi Sura Singh came first, School of Eminence Garhshankar came second and Government High Smart School Dagham came third.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Kirpal Singh congratulated the winning schools and students and praised the excellent performance of the children and honored the winning students with trophies. On this occasion, BRC Science Mr. Anupam Sharma and BRC Mathematics Mr. Ram Saroop and other staff were present. The stage was conducted by Master Gurvinder Singh.
