
No let up in treatment of gas accident victims - Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh.

After this tragic accident, the injured were immediately admitted to the Hoshiarpur Civil Hospital for treatment.

On Saturday, Punjab Government Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh, Member of Parliament Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal and Hoshiarpur MLA Bram Shankar reached Jimpa Hospital and inquired about the well-being of the injured and met their families. Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that this accident is very painful and unfortunate. He said that he had gone to the spot yesterday and reviewed the situation and now he has also reviewed the medical facilities in the hospital.
He assured that no let up in treatment of the injured will be allowed and the government is committed to provide them all possible assistance. MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal said that the doctors and staff of the health department are engaged in the treatment of the injured with full dedication. He also clarified that the government will soon provide compensation to the victims.
Along with this, adequate compensation will also be ensured for the families whose houses and shops have been damaged in the accident. MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the state government always stands with the people in their sorrow and pain. He said that the process of providing relief and rehabilitation to the victims of the accident will be taken forward expeditiously.
He said that the district administration is working with full sensitivity and speed so that the injured and their families get all kinds of help in time. All the three public representatives wished the injured a speedy recovery and directed the hospital administration to provide the best facilities in treatment.
