Nawanshahr:- As per the directions of Shri Shiv Dular Singh Dhillon (IAS Retd.), Secretary Punjab State Red Cross Branch, Chandigarh, keeping in mind the problems of flood victims, a medical camp was organized in village Darya Musa and village Gillanwali (Tehsil Ajnala, District Amritsar) on the banks of the Ravi River with the support of Red Cross Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Drug Victims Nawanshahr and Guru Ramdas Sewa Society, Nawanshahr. Which was led by Shri Chaman Singh (Project Director).
On this occasion, Dr. Daljit Singh (Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Charitable Medical and Educational Society (Regd.) Jalandhar checked the health of the flood affected people and provided them with the necessary medicines free of cost. On this occasion, 45 patients took advantage of this camp. The villagers also shared their problems with them, in connection with which Project Director Mr. Chaman Singh encouraged them and said that natural disasters cannot be dealt with alone.
Such difficult times can be overcome only with mutual brotherhood or other cooperation. While the Punjab Government and the Government of India are helping the affected families, social service organizations and religious organizations, NRIs and others are also standing shoulder to shoulder with you in this disaster.
Indian State Red Cross Society, Chandigarh is also working to provide relief during this disaster, so that humanity can be served. To make this camp successful, the Red Cross team Manjit Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Baljit Kumar gave full support.
Apart from this, Amarjit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Karamjit Singh, Jagtar Singh, (Guru Ramdas Society, Nawanshahr) also supported. Sukhwinder Singh Thandi (President Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara) was also present. The villagers gave full support and a young Kultar Singh also got the village inspected.
