
Manav Mangal Group of Schools presents a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Deputy Commissioner for flood relief.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar 09 September 2025: Due to the natural calamity in Punjab, villages and cities of many districts of Punjab were affected by floods. Considering it as his human duty to serve the flood victims, Director of Manav Mangal Group of Schools Sanjay Sardana presented a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Deputy Commissioner, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), Komal Mittal for flood relief.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar 09 September 2025: Due to the natural calamity in Punjab, villages and cities of many districts of Punjab were affected by floods. Considering it as his human duty to serve the flood victims, Director of Manav Mangal Group of Schools Sanjay Sardana presented a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Deputy Commissioner, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), Komal Mittal for flood relief.
The Deputy Commissioner handed over this cheque to the District Red Cross Society and ordered them to spend it to purchase relief materials as per the needs of the flood victims.
The Deputy Commissioner said on this occasion that the floods have caused huge irreparable loss to the state. The government, people, voluntary organizations are standing firmly with these flood affected people in this hour of difficulty. He said that in such a situation, voluntarily helping the flood victims gives a very meaningful message to the society. District Education Officer Dr. Ginni Duggal was also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Sanjay Sardana said that the people of the border areas are facing a very difficult time, they have lost almost everything due to the floods. They have suffered both personal and financial losses. Therefore, it is our duty that if now there is huge loss due to floods in Punjab, then we also contribute our due contribution.
