Haryana/Hisar: JBT teacher Raj Kumar, Government Primary School Kharkpunia, who has made a significant contribution in education reform, blood donation, social service, and environmental protection, will be honored with the Global Role Model Award this year. 
This honor will be given to him on 5 October 2025 in a grand ceremony organized by the social organization Rah Group Foundation in Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir). Raj Kumar, a resident of Shyam Vihar Colony, Hisar, has donated blood more than two dozen times so far. His aim is to provide education to the children of every person working in brick kilns or other places.

Special contribution in education reform
Rah Group Foundation Chairman Naresh Selpad said that Raj Kumar has done many commendable works in the field of education. He ran a special campaign to bring drop out children back into the mainstream. Due to his efforts, many children reached school again and could continue their studies.

Helper of poor children
Raj Kumar's contribution in social service is also inspiring. He celebrates occasions like birthdays and wedding anniversaries among the needy. Providing bags, uniforms, stationery and fee assistance to poor children is a regular part of his life. He is also constantly working to give the right direction to unemployed youth.

Blood donation and environmental protection
Raj Kumar considers blood donation to be the biggest service to humanity. He donates blood on every occasion and also inspires other people of the society for this. Along with this, he is continuously running a tree plantation campaign for environmental protection. Teaching children the responsibility of planting trees and taking care of them is part of his habit.

Active in de-addiction campaign
Raj Kumar has also made a significant contribution in the de-addiction campaign. He cooperated in the cyclothon journey of the Haryana government and has run awareness campaigns in Barwala and Hisar to keep the youth away from drugs.

Chairman Naresh Selpad said that teachers like Raj Kumar are true role models for the society. His life inspires education, social service and environmental protection.
