
Khalistani extremists surround Jaishankar's car in London, attempt to tear the tricolour
Chandigarh/New Delhi, March 6 - Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar faced opposition from Khalistani extremists in London on Wednesday night (UK local time). As soon as Jaishankar came out after attending an event at the Chatham Think Tank, a Khalistani supporter surrounded his car and tried to disrespect India's national tricolour flag.

As soon as Jaishankar came out after attending an event at the Chatham Think Tank, a Khalistani supporter surrounded his car and tried to disrespect India's national tricolour flag.
A video of the entire incident is also going viral on social media, in which a Khalistani supporter is seen tearing the Indian flag. Surprisingly, the London police personnel present at the spot remained a mute spectator and did not take any action against the Khalistani supporters. Jaishankar is on an official visit to the UK and Ireland from March 4 to 9 to strengthen diplomatic ties.
India condemns security breach of Jaishankar
India has condemned the security breach of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar during his visit to the UK. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We have seen footage of the security breach of the External Affairs Minister during his visit to the UK. We condemn these provocative activities by small groups of separatists and extremists. We condemn the misuse of democratic freedoms by such elements. We hope that the host government will discharge its diplomatic responsibilities in such cases.”
