Chandigarh, September 6 - Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that Seva Fortnight will be celebrated across the state from September 17 to October 12, during which many public service programs, beneficial schemes, cleanliness drive and other dreams of the Central and State Governments will be fulfilled.

The Chief Minister was presiding over an important meeting with top officials of various departments today. All the ministers also joined the meeting through virtual and also shared their suggestions regarding the program.
Mr. Naib Saini said that for the last 11 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, new schemes have been implemented for public welfare, which are benefiting the people of the country today. With this in mind, inspired by the Prime Minister's philosophy of life, the spirit of service among the people will be increased during Seva Fortnight. We all have to work together to make the Sewa Fortnight a success.
The Chief Minister ordered the officers to make full preparations for the Fortnight. During this, the Health Department will organize a medical check-up camp. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department will organize cleanliness drives and shamdaan programs for the welfare of the disabled and other departments will organize cleanliness drives and shamdaan programs.
He said that during the Sewa Fortnight, blood donation camps, plastic-free campaigns, planting trees and ensuring that the benefits of schemes are provided to the poor will be ensured.
The Chief Minister ordered the officers to organize special programs during the Sewa Fortnight to take the public welfare schemes being run by their respective departments to the ground level and ensure maximum public participation in these events.
He said that the work of many projects has been completed, a list of such projects should be made so that they can be dedicated to the public during the Sewa Fortnight.
He said that during the service fortnight, which lasts for more than two weeks, each department should organize a big event in each district. Along with this, all the departments in the entire state should come together and organize programs. The aim of the fortnight is to give priority to public service. Therefore, public welfare and public service will be kept at the top in all the programs.
