Mohali: Regarding the floods in Punjab, Punjabi singer Maninder Deol (California) said that his organization Niswarth Sewa Society is helping people in the flood-affected villages adjacent to Sultanpur Lodhi and Patiala in Punjab. Goods are being provided to the flood-affected people as per their needs.
Mrs. Maninder Deol further said that her organization had also helped people in the floods that occurred in 2023. She appealed to the people of Punjab and NRIs to stand firm with the people of Punjab who are facing natural calamities and come forward to help them in every way.
She said that many organizations in Punjab are currently contributing their bit to help the people, which is very commendable. He said that Punjab can help itself because Punjab has faced many troubles and Punjabis have faced every trouble with determination.
He also appreciated and thanked the people of his industry for the help being extended to Punjabis.
