
Social Welfare Society planted more than 100 saplings in Government High School.
Garhshanker- Shivalik Social Welfare Society, a reputed institution of the local area, has made a noble effort to contribute to environmental protection by planting about a hundred saplings in the courtyard of the Government High School located in the village Birampur of the area. On this occasion, the patron of the society, Phoola Singh Birampur, said that his society has been trying to plant new saplings in various schools and vacant places of the area for some time.

On this occasion, Sukhwinder Kumar, Principal of Government High School Birampur, said that Shivalik Social Welfare Society is making its valuable contribution in social work. He said that today more than 100 different types of decorative and shady plants have been planted in the courtyard of our Government High School.
He thanked them and said that we hope that Shivalik Social Welfare Society will continue to contribute in improving the environment in future also. Apart from school principal Sukhwinder Kumar, other staff members were also present on this occasion. Founder of Shivalik Social Welfare Society Phoola Singh Birampur, Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar, Surinder Singh Golia, Rajan Birampur, Sandy Bhajla, Dharamjit Singh Raja, Preet Parowal and other members were also present on the occasion.
