Chandigarh: Valmiki ji's birth anniversary was celebrated in Sector-28. The event was organized by the Dr. Ambedkar Colony Welfare Organization. Instead of the President and Chairman, the guest guest Prince Bahadur Singh Ghasal started the function by bowing to Lord Valmiki Ji.
He said that Mahili ji has given Ramayana creative and aduti education and people should improve their lives by following that education. Prince Bahadur Singh Ghasal urged the children to get additional education.
Special guests and other guests offered flowers of devotion and tried to give religious meaning to the event. A langar was also arranged, in which thousands of devotees attended and enjoyed the hymns offered at the feet of Lord Valmiki.
