SAS Nagar, August 26 - Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Amarjit Singh Sidhu inaugurated the work on the collapsed Dharamshala in Sohana village. On this occasion, he said that the building of this Dharamshala had collapsed and now it is being rebuilt from scratch.

Municipal Corporation Councilor Harjit Singh Bholu said that earlier miscreants had occupied this place and three years ago this occupation was released with the help of the villagers and now the building of the new Dharamshala is being prepared.
He said that the villagers were in great need of this Dharamshala building. He also demanded that the Dharamshala be converted into a community center in the coming time. He said that they are getting all the village works done by them by rising above party politics. On the occasion, the elderly women of the village staged a protest.
On this occasion, Rupinder Singh Rupa, Rubal Pradhan, Sukhdev Singh Master, Chuhar Singh former Panch, Jarnail Singh, Gurmukh Singh, Gurmeet Singh Rera and a large number of elders and youth participated.
