Where every month lectures are organized on the occasion of birth anniversary of some litterateur. The purpose of which is to connect with the works of litterateurs as well as to give an opportunity to know their multifaceted personality and life struggle closely.

Where every month lectures are organized on the occasion of birth anniversary of some litterateur. The purpose of which is to connect with the works of litterateurs as well as to give an opportunity to know their multifaceted personality and life struggle closely.
In this series, the department organizes 'Premchand Jayanti Samaroh' on 31 July every year. This year also on 31 July, 2024, a special program was organized by the department in the smart class room of the department on the occasion of Premchand Jayanti. On this occasion, Prof. Subhash Chandra (Professor, Hindi Department, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra) participated as the keynote speaker. The program was inaugurated by the Head of the Department, Dr. Ashok Kumar Sabharwal, by welcoming all the people present and presenting a flower bouquet to the keynote speaker and guests. After this, Abhishek Pandey, a student of MA II of the department, presented his views on the topic 'Premchand: Personality and Works'.
After this, Narayan Singh, a student of MA II, remembered Premchand through his poem. After that, researcher Rekha Maurya gave her speech on the current relevance of Premchand. Dr. Subhash Chandra, who was present as the keynote speaker, introduced the major roles played by Premchand in social change in his speech. He explained the main topic of the program 'Premchand and the present time' in a succinct manner. Describing him as a Gandhian personality of Hindi literature, he discussed at length the goals of his novels and stories and said that Premchand's literature is a big attempt at coordination.
At the end of the program, former President of Premchand Chair Prof. Neerja Sood and current President Prof. Baijnath Prasad were honored by the department. In the end, the program was concluded by felicitating the chief guest by the head of the department by giving a vote of thanks. Prof. Gurmeet Singh (Hindi Department), Pankaj Srivastava (Philosophy), Kulwinder Singh (UBS), Prof. Neeru, Dr. Harmel Singh (CDOE), Dr. Sudhir Mehra (English Department) and Prof. Naresh Kumar (Associate DSW) participated in the program. This program was conducted by MA II student Pawan Kumar.
