Una , 09 September - Under Integrated Child Development Project Una, an awareness camp was organized under Nutrition Month in Village Panchayat Jhaleda under the chairmanship of Supervisor Circle Jhaleda Kulbir Kaur. She said that like every year, this year also, Women and Child Development is organizing various programs at Anganwadi level , Supervisor Circle level and Project level to save the targeted groups from malnutrition, through which the targeted groups are being given detailed information about nutritious food. She said that while the cooperation of the people is necessary for the success of the programs, the inclusive participation of public representatives , school management committees , government departments , social organizations and all public and private sectors is expected. She made people aware about Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan.
 He said that it is very important to have health check-up of pregnant women , lactating mothers and newborn babies from time to time and it is also important to get them vaccinated and immunization done on time. It was told at the camp that pregnant women , lactating mothers and newborn babies should take a balanced nutritious diet , along with iron-folic acid tablets, they should take diet rich in minerals , calcium and iron and special attention should be given to malnourished and slightly malnourished children and their health can be improved by giving them nutritious diet along with getting them proper treatment after consulting an expert doctor and dietician. He made everyone aware about the importance of yoga for staying healthy.
On this occasion, a baby shower was organised for a pregnant lady so that people could be made aware.
