Nawanshahr - Punjab Health System Corporation (PHSC) Director Dr. Anil Goyal today visited the District Hospital, Nawanshahr with the aim of strengthening the health services in the district.
Director Dr. Anil Goyal, who arrived here specially from Chandigarh, had a special discussion about health services with Civil Surgeon Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harpreet Singh, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Satwinderpal Singh and other high officials.
Dr. Anil Goyal said that the purpose of his visit is to take appropriate measures to provide better health facilities to the common people.
He reviewed the arrangements made for smooth functioning of labor room, emergency services, ot services, ICU ward etc. at District Hospital, Nawanshahr.
On this occasion, he also asked the pregnant women about the condition of other patients including new mothers and also sought information from them about the health facilities they are getting. He expressed satisfaction over the health services provided by the district hospital.
He said that the health department is working in the direction of making the district hospitals stronger in view of providing first-class health facilities to the common people.
He also said that the problems faced in government health institutions will be resolved soon. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jaspreet Kaur informed the Director Sahib about the achievements of the Civil Hospital in providing health facilities.
On this occasion, among others, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harpreet Singh, Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Satwinderpal Singh, Dr. Gurpal Kataria, Dr. Rajan Sashtri, Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Nursing Sister Satwinder Kaur, AHA Pooja and District Statistics Officer Neeraj Kumar from the Health Department.
