
Sirjana Kendra to honour multifaceted writer Fakir Chand Tuli with a cash award of Rs 1 lakh on Saturday: Kanwar Iqbal Singh
Kapurthala (Paigam-E-Jagat)- Sirjana Kendra (Regd.), Kapurthala, a world-renowned organization of writers in the area, in collaboration with Lok Manch Punjab (Regd.), is honouring multifaceted writer Fakir Chand Tuli (Jalandhari) with a cash award of Rs 1 lakh for his literary/creative contribution of more than half a century.

The award ceremony, which is being held at the center’s office, Virsa Vihar, on Saturday, December 14 at 3 pm, will be attended by Lok Manch Punjab (Regd.) President Mr. Surinder Singh Sunnar (USA) will be the chief guest, eminent social worker Parvinder Singh Dhot Architect will be the special guest, while Fakir Chand Tuli (Jalandhari) and international poet Kanwar Iqbal Singh will be present in the presidium. Eminent scholar Dr. Ram Murthy will give information about the literary and creative journey of Fakir Chand Tuli (Jalandhari).
Shahbaz Khan, Ashu Kumra and Malkit Meet, who are among the office bearers of the center, issued a press note and informed that the patrons of the center Prof. Harjit Singh Ashak (England), Prof. Kulwant Singh Aujla, Dr. Paramjit Singh Mansa and Dr. Asa Singh Ghuman will be part of the welcome committee.
While Gurdeep Gill, Dr. Avtar Singh Bhandal, Ashu Kumra, Avtar Singh Gill and Malkit Singh Meet are serving as the coordinators of this event. The President of the Center, Kanwar Iqbal Singh, appeals to the writers and literature lovers of the area to join the event on time.
