Hoshiarpur- MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa visited Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur and held an important meeting with the doctors of the hospital. The purpose of this meeting was to take stock of the status of health services being provided to the patients in the hospital and to take necessary steps to improve them further. During this, Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Kumar was also present with him.

The purpose of this meeting was to take stock of the status of health services being provided to the patients in the hospital and to take necessary steps to improve them further. On this occasion, doctors from various departments placed before the MLA the demand for necessary resources to provide better facilities to the patients. These demands included points such as modern medical equipment, additional staff, and upgradation of infrastructure.
MLA Jimpa directed all the departments to prepare a detailed list of their demands so that proper arrangements could be made to meet these needs soon. He stressed that providing high quality health services to the patients is his priority. The MLA assured that every effort would be made to overcome the lack of resources in the hospital and provide better facilities to the patients.
He also said that coordination will be established with the state government and the concerned departments to fulfill the demands on priority basis. During this visit, the MLA also inspected various wards of the hospital and talked to the patients about their problems. He directed the hospital administration to ensure cleanliness, timely availability of medicines and respectful behavior with the patients.
MLA Jimpa said that it is our responsibility to provide better health facilities to the people of Hoshiarpur. We will leave no stone unturned to further strengthen the civil hospital.
On this occasion, District Vaccination Officer Dr. Seema Garg, DDHO Dr. Maninder Kaur, DFPO Dr. Ranjit Singh, DMC Dr. Savita, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Swati Shimar and Dr. Kuldeep Singh along with doctors from all departments of the hospital were present.
