Nawanshahr - Due to the special and commendable efforts of social worker NRIs colleagues, a meeting of forward-thinking entrepreneurs of the village was held at village Sahlon. In which ideas were made for the betterment and progress of the village. In which all the attendees agreed yes to yes and took a vow to work with each other with true faith.
  Some projects were also discussed for the development of this village, and an executive committee was unanimously formed with the advice of NRI heroes to fulfill all the tasks. In which S. Gurpreet Singh as President, Parminder Singh as Vice President, Harmesh Bharti as General Secretary, Jaswinder Singh as Secretary, Gurcharan Singh as Treasurer, Harjit Singh as Assistant Treasurer, Sat Pal Sahlon as Press Secretary and Charan Singh, Jaswant Singh, General Singh and Unkar Singh were selected as advisors. This committee will advance the social service works in the village with the advice of the village leaders and will work impartially with everyone.
