On this occasion, former Union Minister Vijay Sampala said that Babu Mangu Ram Muggowalia ji did many works for centuries to give equal rights to the suffering people of Dalit society, to make his identity in the religious and social field.   He said that Babu Mangu Ramji merged into the five elements on 22 April 1980. Today, he along with his colleagues has come to his memorial at Mugowal village to pay tribute to him. He said that the governments should officially celebrate the death anniversary of Shri Mangu Ram Mugowalia ji, so that the youth can get inspiration from him.
