The program started with the hoisting of the Gadar Party flag at the main entrance of Desh Bhagat Memorial Hall by Dr. Tejinder Virli, member of Desh Bhagat Memorial Committee. He said that today's discussion will be effective in finding answers to the questions with which the farmers' movement of Punjab is struggling.
Today's keynote speaker, Dr. Devinder Sharma, said in his speech that instead of adopting necessary concrete measures to solve the all-round crisis in the agricultural sector, efforts are being made to destroy the agricultural sector. Discussing milk and grain production and other businesses, Dr. Devinder Sharma said that even small peni is not being included in the overall budget. Rather, such steps are being taken which will spoil the farming. If agriculture can be made to stand on its own feet then who would want to be the watchman of big companies?
Dr. Devinder Sharma said that after Corona, five and a half crore people returned to their villages. He said that at present farmers' resistance is going on in 64 countries. Suicides are happening all over the world. Our country's global image and concrete challenges are worrying that we may have to deal with a spirit like the Ghadar Party.
He said with facts that it is mandatory to abolish MSP, why are farmers being forced to hand over to the private market. He said that the coffee industry has an economy of 200 billion dollars, the same is the case with chocolate. Everyone is earning a lot but farmers are becoming poor.
Dr. Devinder Sharma gave meaningful answers to dozens of questions from the pandal. Very important questions opened the door to further discussion of events in the future.
Taking inspiration from the great historical heritage and struggle of the Ghadar Party, Committee Chairman Ajmer Singh stressed on moving forward towards creating the dream society of the Ghadar patriots through fundamental social change.
In his honor, Dr. Devinder Sharma was given the flag of Gadar Party in a packed pandal and on the stage, and the entire pandal echoed with applause.
