150 delegates participated in the international pharmacy conference

Rajpura, April 20 – International Pharmacy Conference on “Recent Advances, Opportunities and Challenges in Pharmaceutical Sectors” was organized at Arians Group of Colleges Rajpura. Dr. Balbir Singh, Health Minister, Punjab, inaugurated the conference and Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Arians Group, presided.

Rajpura, April 20 – International Pharmacy Conference on “Recent Advances, Opportunities and Challenges in Pharmaceutical Sectors” was organized at Arians Group of Colleges Rajpura. Dr. Balbir Singh, Health Minister, Punjab, inaugurated the conference and Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Arians Group, presided.
  Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh highlighted the immense potential of this sector and said that the pharmaceutical industry is strong, resilient and responsive. India's pharmaceutical sector, known as the world's pharmacy, will contribute more to meet domestic needs and global demand in the coming years. The Health Minister asserted that it is an emerging manufacturing hub that has seen extraordinary progress with the implementation of production-related incentive schemes and investments for medical drug parks. Dr. Upendra Nagaich National Secretary Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research was the eminent speaker of the session on this occasion. The special guest on this occasion was S. Gurdayal S. Buttar, President, Nursing Training Institute Association, Punjab Director, ISF College of Pharmacy Moga Dr GD Dr Shailesh Sharma, Director, College of Pharmacy, Bela; Dr. Tejveer Kaur; Head of Pharmacy Department of Medical College Patiala was the special guest. Dr Anshu Kataria mentions that in the last two decades in particular, the pharmaceutical industry has grown from strength to strength. has turned into a prime area for education and job opportunities. Industry has also contributed greatly to increasing life expectancy. Out of 3500 in Arians, more than 1500 students are studying in health care courses including pharmacy, nursing, para-medical, physiotherapy etc. Kataria emphasized that not only the country but our state will soon become the hub of the health care force. Dr JS Badhan, Principal Arians College of Pharmacy said that around 150 delegates from all over the world participated in this conference. During this, presentations, interactive sessions, poster presentations as well as informative keynote sessions by professionals from both industry and academia were organized.
