Gift of books by writer Baljinder Mann for the student writer section in the library of Khalsa College Mahilpur.

Mahilpur, April 20- In the Sant Baba Hari Singh Memorial Library located in Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur here, Shiromani Bal Sahitya Award winning writer Baljinder Mann presented a set of his books to the student-author section of the college.

Mahilpur, April 20- In the Sant Baba Hari Singh Memorial Library located in Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur here, Shiromani Bal Sahitya Award winning writer Baljinder Mann presented a set of his books to the student-author section of the college.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh said that a separate section has been constructed by giving separate entries to the books related to different subjects of the college-educated student-writers in the library. So that the students currently studying in the college can get guidance from these authors. On this occasion, the Head of Punjabi Department, Dr. JB Sekho, said that among the old students of the college are Sahitya Akademi award winner Guljar Singh Sandhu, experimentalist writer Ajaj Kamal, Gurdev Chauhan Canada, Prem Sahil Dehradun, Surinder Seehra England and many other writers. The sets of whose books are being kept in this separate section. On this occasion, writer Baljinder Mann along with writer Dr. Balveer Kaur and writer Sukhman also presented their sets of books for this section. Writer Baljinder Mann shared his words of gratitude and said that after studying from this college, many writers are active in their fields in countries and abroad, whose creative writings are specially preserved by this institution as a special honor to its students.
Dr. Prabhjot Kaur, Prof. Tajinder Singh, Prof. Ashok Kumar and Library Restorer Shashi Kumar Kapur were also present on this occasion.
